Is alcohol permitted?
Yes, you can bring alcohol for your private event; we do not provide it. We have a table, tubs, openers, etc. Ice is provided for catered parties; DIY parties must provide their own ice. All local consumption laws are enforced (21+ only).

Where do my guests park?

Public parking is abundant and close by. There is a free public lot on Riffles Lane behind the inn, metered street parking on York St, and a metered lot around the corner on E Baltimore St. After 5 PM and on Sundays the meters are inactive. Anyone with an active handicap placard or tag parks for free at active meters. The inn does have an on-site private parking lot. However, those spaces are reserved for overnight registered guests of the B&B. We will let you know if any spaces are available for you or your guests on the day of your party.

Is it easy to bring supplies in for my party?

Yes. Party hosts can pull up either to the front of the inn on York Street or come in the back and use our private driveway to get close to unload. Also, you can make arrangements to drop off supplies ahead of your party.

Are children permitted as guests?

Well-behaved and supervised children are a welcome addition to any party. Please be aware that Georges on York B&B is designed for adults to get away, relax and unwind. Parents should come prepared with games and activities that will keep their kids happy and occupied.

The kids might do great through the wedding ceremony but get bored after the family photos. Consider bringing a sitter (and a change of clothes!) who can take the kids to the local park. If you are planning a party where you expect multiple children under 15, this may not be the best fit for you.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A 50% nonrefundable payment is required to secure any party.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Yes. We will not honor any party without a signed and dated contract (and a deposit).

Are gratuities included; expected?

No, gratuities are not included in our pricing. We encourage gratuities for our staff. For larger parties we do bring in extra staff and they appreciate being recognized for outstanding service.
